How to assign tags to clients

Use client tags to quickly label, organize and sort information related to your clients.

To assign a tag to a client, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Clients > General.

  2. From the clients list, choose a client for whom you want to assign tags, and then click Edit client.

  3. From the Client Tags drop-down list, select one or several tags that you want to assign to this client. Press Enter after selecting each client tag with the mouse cursor.

Note

To view a list of available client tags or add new tags, navigate to System > Users > Client Tags.

  1. Click Save to apply the changes.

To assign a tag to multiple clients at once, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Clients > General.

  2. Click the Select button located in the upper-right corner of the page, and then select clients to which you want to assign tags by clicking client rows.

    • To select all clients, click Select All.

    • To unselect a client, click the corresponding client rows again.

    • To unselect all clients at once, click Deselect.

  3. Expand the Edit selected clients drop-down menu, and then select Assign Tags.

  4. From the Client Tags drop-down list, select one or several tags that you want to assign to the selected clients.

  5. To replace the existing client tags with the new ones, enable the option to Overwrite current values; otherwise, the new tags will be added to the existing ones.

  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

The tags assigned to the clients are displayed in the Tags column on the General page.
