How to set a cashback

You can pay out cashback to traders as a reward for their trading activities. The more active a trader, the bigger the cashback.

Cashback rewards can be deposited to client wallets or MT4 and MT5 trading accounts.

To set up cashback rewards, do the following:

  • Configure the required cashback settings for the MT4 and MT5 platforms.

  • Add a method for depositing cashback rewards.

How to configure cashback settings

To configure cashback settings, do the following:

  1. Navigate to System > Settings.

  2. Set the Cashback value for the MT4 or MT5 trading platform. Enter a fixed cashback amount to be awarded to your traders for each lot being traded (for example, 2.5 USD per each lot). This value can be an integer or decimal number. Cashbacks payable to traders with MT4 accounts get rounded to the nearest hundredth, and to traders with MT5 accounts – to the nearest ten-thousandth.

  3. Set the Cashback currency for the MT4 or MT5 trading platform. The cashback currency has to match that of a selected MT account; otherwise, a trader will not be able to receive the cashback.

  4. Select a Destination account type:

  • trade — the cashback will be credited to the account from which the trades were made. If the account currency differs from the Cashback currency, the cashback will be credited to another client’s account on the same platform, denominated in the corresponding currency.

  • personal — the cashback will be credited to a client wallet denominated in the corresponding currency.

  1. Click Save to apply the changes.

How to create a method for depositing cashback rewards

To create a new deposit method, do the following:

  1. Navigate to System > Deposit system > Deposit methods.

  2. Click +Create and fill in the following fields:

  • Name — specify the name of the deposit method displayed in the Back Office.

  • Caption — specify the caption for the deposit method. This deposit method is not displayed to clients in the B2Core UI, so there are no strict rules as to letter capitalization.

  • Provider — select the cashback option.

  • Currency — select the same currency that was specified for the Cashback currency in Settings.

  • Connection — set this option to Not selected.

  1. Click Save to add a new method..

  2. On the Settings tab, specify the following options:

  • Enabled — set this option to Yes.

  • Group — this option is set to Not selected. It is associated with the Provider setting and can’t be configured separately.

  • Time to fund — specify the time when cashback must be credited. This setting is not displayed to clients in the B2Core UI and does not affect the cashback program.

  1. Click Save to apply the changes.

  2. Switch to the TR Currencies tab and make sure that the specified transaction currency matches the Cashback currency and is enabled.

  3. If not, click the Edit button and and set the Enabled field to Yes. You can also specify the Caption field or leave it empty.

  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

How to identify clients that received cashback rewards

To check the details of clients who have already received the cashback, do the following:

  1. Navigate to Finance > Deposits.

  2. Filter deposit transactions by the Payment method column. Select the name of the method for depositing cashback rewards that you have previously created as a filtering option.

  3. View details of the filtered deposit transactions.

The cashback rewards are deposited to client wallets or trading accounts at the end of each settlement day according to the Back Office server time (GMT +0).
