To configure a commission cashback plan, do the following:
Navigate to Commission Cashback > Commission Plans, and then click the +Create button located in the upper-right corner of the page.
In the Commission Name field, specify a plan name used in the Back Office.
From the Trades Provider list, select a trading platform for which a commission plan is configured.
Currently, commission cashback can be enabled only for B2Trader.
From the Target Currency drop-down list, select a traded currency. A certain portion of the total amount of commissions charged for trades in this currency is distributed as cashback rewards between clients that meet the commission plan requirements.
The target currency must be traded as a base currency in a currency pair.
From the Side drop-down list, select a trade side:
buy– cashback is paid from commissions charged only for
buytrades in a target currency.
sell– cashback is paid from commissions charged only for
selltrades in a target currency.
All– cashback is paid from commissions charged for both
selltrades in a target currency.
From the Period drop-down list, select a period during which commissions for trading in a target currency are collected.
The possible values:
day – day 00:00:00 GMT – day 23:59:59 GMT
week – Monday 00:00:00 GMT – Sunday 23:59:59 GMT
month – the first day 00:00:00 GMT of a month – the last day 23:59:59 GMT of a month
In the Percent field, specify a percentage of the commission amount collected for trades in a target currency that you want to distribute between clients. Commissions are collected during a specified period.
From the Cashback Currency drop-down list, select a currency in which you want to pay commission cashback.
Set the Hold option to Enabled or Disabled.
If Disabled, a client must meet only the general requirements to receive cashback under a cashback commission plan:
There must be funds in a target currency (the one being promoted) on a client trading account at the end of the current period.
No trades in a target currency must be made by a client during the current period.
If Enabled, in addition to the general requirements, a client must meet the following requirement:
No deposits or transfers in a target currency must be made to a client trading account during the current period. In this case, the system checks the date and time when the latest deposit or transfer in a target currency was made to a client trading account.
To learn more about this option, refer to Example 1.
To enable commission cashback distribution under this plan, set the Distribution field to Enabled.
Click Save to create the plan.
This example illustrates how the Hold option works.
Consider that the Period option is set to day and the Hold option is set to Enabled for a cashback commission plan.
The process of identifying the clients eligible to be rewarded cashback for the past day (August 31st) started at 00:01:00 GMT on September 1st.
If a deposit or transfer in a target currency was made to a client trading account on August 31st and no trades in a target currency were made from August 31st 00:00:00 GMT to August 31st 23:59:59 GMT, this client is not selected for cashback distribution.
If no deposits or transfers in a target currency was made to a client trading account on August 31st and no trades in a target currency were made from August 31st 00:00:00 GMT to August 31st 23:59:59 GMT, this client is selected for cashback distribution.
Before modifying or removing an existing commission cashback plan, make sure that all commission distribution operations related to the selected plan have been completed and assigned the done status.
A full list of commission distribution operations that have been initiated can be found upon navigating to Commission Cashback > Processing Log.
To modify or remove an existing commission cashback plan, do the following:
Navigate to Commission Cashback > Commission Plans.
Select a plan that you want to modify or remove.
To modify the plan, click the Edit button, and then make the required changes.
To remove the plan, click the Delete button related to the selected plan, and then confirm the deletion.
If a plan cannot be modified or removed because some commission distribution operations aren’t complete, an error message is displayed.
